Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia (BRNS)
The Province of Nova Scotia's Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia (BRNS) initiative will deliver high-speed access to the Internet to 100 per cent of Nova Scotians, making Nova Scotia one of the most connected jurisdictions in Canada and in North America. This will give our schools, businesses and families the opportunity to connect and compete worldwide.
Access to high speed is critical for:
· businesses to compete internationally
· the social and economic growth of Nova Scotia's diverse communities
· students completing online research or studies
· eGovernment and health services
The BRNS website contains up-to-date information on the Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia initiative and provides links to a wide range of local, Canadian and international websites that may be of interest to families and students, to communities, and to businesses planning a high-speed future.
